My goodness I have had this problem for years. OK here is what you do. DO NOT go get it straightened by a professional. This can cost hundreds of dollars and I did that and it worked for like 3 days and I followed his directions to the max and it still did not work. I bought a straightener. It's expensive but it works. You can look it up online. It's called The Chi Straightener. It cost me $100 but I have used it for 2 years and it works like it did the first time I used it. Whether you have straight or long hair. My hair was short and it took me like 5 minutes to straighten it. Now it's past my shoulders and takes like 15 now, but I just do pieces out of time b/c my hair is layered too, that way I make sure to get every piece straight.
