Quiet Blow Dryer
Quiet Blow Dryer
The fundamentals of a hairdryer are very simple, there are two main parts which are essential to the workings and these are heat and air. So how do hairdryers work, quite simply the two elements are pushed together and the hot air is pushed through the funnel and out in one direction from the device. The heat is generated from an element inside the hairdryer; this will heat up very quickly, but this is no use if all the hot air is contained within the unit, firstly it will get very hot too touch and secondly the hairdryer will not perform the task that it is supposed too. The second part is the fan to push the air out of the dryer; this is a very simple motor which rotates the fan to push out the air and then you can dry your hair. Most hairdryers will also allow you to turn off the heating element and blow out cold air should you so wish.
Many of the hairdryers today will allow the user to regulate the heat and control how hot the air is that comes out of the dryer. The hotter the heating element the hotter the air will be that is pushed through to dry the hair. The heat is regulated normally by a heating coil, when the dryer is connected to the mains the coiled wires will warm up and become hot. The coil (nichrome wire) is made up of a number of two different alloy metals these are, nickel and chromium, you can find these in any number of household items including toasters and kettles. These two elements make excellent heat conductors, and nichrome wire is a poor conductor of electricity and therefore the alloy is very heat resistant which allows it to get very hot. Another important element is the nichrome wire does not rust or oxidize; this is critical and allows the hairdryer to function properly and for a longer time period. When the air is pushed through the main body of the hairdryer it is cold before it reaches the element, depending on how long the air takes to pass through the dryer will dictate how hot the air will be when it leaves the other end. The regulation switch for the temperature will speed up the fan or slow it down and this then allows the temperature to be set correctly.

-Large black end table
-Electronics
-Bedside lamps
-Household items
Any questions or for address details just let me know.
Things like kettles and electric radiators are technically 100% efficient, because they are designed to turn electricity into heat, and all the electrical power that goes in comes out as heat. However things like light bulbs are designed to put out light, but they also put out heat as a side effect. Typical incandescent lights are generally convert around 20% of the electrical energy input iinto light, the rest is wasted as heat.
Some other good things to look at would be something like a refrigerative air conditioner. The interesting thing about these is that they can move more heat (they are 'heat pumps') from one place to another than the amount of electrical energy you put in! So say you had an aircon that used 5Kw of power, it might be able to 'pump' 15kw of heat (I dont know the exact numbers, these are just guesses!). So they are more 'efficient' as such than an electric radiator.
Other typical things might include microwave ovens: around 50 to 60 % efficient etc.
sério, acho que achei o namorado que eu tava proucurando, dai que ele tem 2 anos, ele topou ver filminho agarradinho comigo! é oque tem né:x

okay, one thing is to just relax with girls, we do seem very complicated but we arent clueless when a guy is trying hard to make a move and just doesnt no how. most girls will take action and tell you what they do and dont like. also girls love when the guy makes the first move. i no its hard for that to happen, i totally get it. my boyfriend and i have been together for about a month and hes really shy but is growing out of it. you just need to find a girl who will be patient with you and teach you the ways lol. as far as being more open and talkative with people, just relax with that too and be yourself. try not to freak out so much over what others think. =] feel free to ask me any questions you have about girls and whatnot, id love to help =]
I had almost forgotten how much "fun" coaxing chromium to build was. (Oh, and please don't ask about the legal issues, I've said all I can).
I have about 8 moving boxes that I want to recycle and give to someone. They’re a good size and some of them have padding/packing material in them that was used for household items (vases, candles, etc). Everything is clean and you can pick them up anytime.
E-mail me and I’ll write back the address to the first person who writes back. I’ll put them out in front of my building whenever you want today (Sunday, Feb 21st).
Thanks!
I'd try alldata or mitchell on demand, both dot com.
Definitely your best video guys. Can’t believe it took me so long to see it! Come back to Cape Town soon.
Use tennis balls and other household items to simulate nuclear war with your friends!
Inspired by the Eschaton section of David Foster Wallace’s Infinite Jest, I sat down and worked out rules to make a version that people in the real world could play without being tennis prodigies or having carts full of computers. Rules available on a webpage and as a PDF download.

There is a schedule comparing Colors and temperatures. You can find it in steel treatment companies.
Yes they make a flame less cigarette lighter. I don't know how long a charge will last or how many cig's you can light . The lighter has a built in flash memory as well.
Heck this looks so cool I might START smoking just to use it..
Why does stainless steel have such strange properties?
Its corrosion resistance has long been explained by the formation of a thin protective layer of chromium oxide, but it isn’t the only weird feature of stainless steel. There’s its thermal conductivity, which is surprisingly low for a metal alloy (16 W/mK, as opposed to 80 for iron, 94 for chromium or 91 for nickel), and also that curious “odor-eating” ability which is exploited in “stainless steel soap”, and which seems quite real to me, but for which I can’t find any convincing explanation online.
Does familiarity breed contempt? I have the feeling that if it wasn’t such an ubiquitous material, its strange properties would get more scientific interest…
give her a Midol.
Hope that helps!
