Queen street west is famous for it's textile shops (and for the art/gallery district a little further west). The majority are between Spadina and Bathurst and it is not far at all from the Eaton Center. I think it would be most worth while because of the variety of shops there. There are also several bead and button stores too so if you are in search of findings as well, you are guaranteed to find some special items.

well the mcu is usually part of the the mcu lol, memory control unit is usually incorporated inside the micro controller unit (think of a processor in your computer which is a suped up version of a microcontroller with alot more power to say the least. the mem controller controls the data aquisition and transmission in the microcontroller. it also has features to identify the manufacturer by way of fuses that are melded to record an ID which is used to cross reference and check to make sure the data matches according the the ID. its main role is in control of the external memory associated with the micro controller. is this homework as maybe the acronym your were looking for was the mcu for microcontroller as the question seems to vague to be referencing the memory controller. and if so the microcontroller in a home appliance or anything is the brain just as the cpu (micro processor) is the brain of our computers. it ahndles all the user input such as when they push the buttons to run the micro it tells the ahrdware how long to run and when to release the door latch and what time to set the clock. please elaborate and ill come back and check to see if i can help more
